Day 06 - A picture of a person you’d love to trade places with for a day.

…because I have to be totally honest and it wouldn’t hurt being superficial once in a while. after all, i am still just like other girls ;)

so here’s the thing. it would be really cool to trade places with the lovely Emma Watson even for a day. i’ve always been interested to experience how it feels to play Hermione Granger and be in the process of bringing to life the epic that was the Harry Potter franchise. the numerous luxury brand endorsements like Burberry, Lancome and Paper Tree, to name a few, is really tempting. plus, (well, actually, my real reason) it had always been my dream to kiss Rupert Grint. HAHA. and have Alex Watson as my little brother! xx

…and then it hit me.

i am a dreamer. always have, probably always will. but it would would be really nice to have things happen for me. i mean, i deserve happiness, don’t i? rather than forever imagining about that globe-trotting escapade and endless shopping and eating anything i want without getting fat, it would be cool to actually get a taste of those in the real world. and a lovely companion (if you know what i mean) wouldn’t hurt ;)

I have dreaded for you to come. Seriously, I know it is a cliche that people say “*insert month* please be good to me” time and time again, but I mean it with you this time. You, September, are one of the months that I fear coming. No, scratch that, you are THE month that I fear coming. It’s just that I know that with you, I will be abused physically, mentally, emotionally, even financially. Just shoot me.

Day 05 - A picture of your favorite memory

The day and night of my pinning ceremony is probably one of the happiest that’s happened to me so far this year. I got to spend quality time with my family and by some streak of luck or blessings, even, everything went smoothly that day. Mylene Luzon wasn’t her usual “echusera” self which practically means she didn’t get on my nerves that day. I am looking forward to making more family memories such as this :))

You see, when you’re a teenager, you do things you’re not really part of. But when I come to think of it, I’m not ashamed of it, either. I mean, at least I’m done with it, right? Right?! (please excuse me as I try to convince myself of my previous statement)

Day 03 - A picture of the cast from your favorite show

Can I cheat and post my two favorite shows? It’s just that I love these two so much that it’s difficult to really point out which one I love more (also considering that they have different plots).

Gossip Girl

For one, I love it because it’s the sexiest show on television.Who doesn’t love the drama that fame, fortune and friends bring, right? Plus, Chace Crawford is so irresistible.

One Tree Hill

I first fell genuinely in love with TV series because of One Tree Hill. I love BruCas and I really wish they ended up together, but oh well, we don’t always get what we want. Through nine seasons and hopefully, more to come, I’ve been a loyal fan :)

Day 02 - A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

Since “longest” is the qualificaton, I have to say Mylene Luzon, my mother. We’ve been together for practically my entire life and I swear with every fiber of my being, I’ll be with her for the rest of her life :)

We weren’t really as close as we are now, but I don’t know, maybe it comes with age and maturity, plus the fact that I’m away from home, that we seem to get along better now. I can tell her things that I normally tell my friends just as much as she can discuss mature stuff with me. I LOVE MY MOM :) 

Day 1 - A photo of yourself with ten facts

1. I am left-handed. And yes, I’d love to headstart my uniqueness claim with this fact.

2. I have been single for twenty years. And no, I am not desperate to break that record anytime soon. I don’t know why but maybe it’s either I just feel really contented with the company I keep or I just love myself too much.

3. I bake. I know it’s not obvious but I am a domestic piece of shit. I love doing maternal stuff like cooking, crafting, washing the dishes, etc. Baking is, of course, my favorite of them all.

4. I read… a lot. I am in love with literature and it really puzzles me why a lot of my cohorts aren’t. I mean, what’s not to love about getting lost in another world, right? Right?

5. I love school. Before you go on judging me all you want, I love school not because I love reading textbooks and/or listening to class discussions. I love school because I love the whole learning experience. I love discovering new things and meeting the people that the school offers (indirectly). Plus, who doesn’t like receiving allowances?

6. I can’t relate to contemporary songs. In the age and stage of party music, I feel pretty lost. I left my heart in the 50’s-90’s era.

7. I watched Twilight six times in the cinema. And everytime the movie ends, I don’t know what I’ve just done. Okay, I know I’m not the biggest Twilight fan but I have to confess that I have the entire book collection in hardbound and watch the movie franchise during the first day of showing… always. Shoot me.

8. I am an overthinker. As much as I try to live life smoothly, I can’t help but think of too many possibilities and impossibilities.

9. I am a hoarder. One of my worst traits is being “damak”. Seriously. If you come see my room, you’d probably regret having me as a friend.

10. I am proud of my family. I know mine isn’t the best or most perfect one there is but I have to say that amid everything, I am more than happy with the family that I belong, and it’s not just because I don’t really have a choice.

Happy Birthday, Papa :)

I know we don’t talk a lot, but it is amazing how assured I still feel of our relationship. You are that one person I don’t really disclose much to, yet I know that no matter what happens, whatever the time or circumstance, you would always be there for me - just as much as you have been there for the past 20 years.

Thank you, Papa. You are one of the most supportive, hands-on fathers I know. You sacrifice a lot at work being away from us on most days, yet you have still managed to fulfill your responsibilities and that would always be commendable.

Being in this city by myself and getting to know different people with different stories made me appreciate our family all the more. I AM BLESSED WITH A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY. And I don’t say this to you often but I am very proud of you and to what our family has become because you decided to do what’s right - for yourself and for us.

You have set a high standard to what I would want to have when I have a family of my own in the future… because you always made me feel that I deserve the best and that has contributed a lot to how I always give high regard to my worth.
